While the gameplay may not be the most ground breaking, the fun factor behind this game is great. The cartoonish atmosphere and the characters will make kids and adults alike smile throughout the game. Whether it's Harry's wit, the damsels in distress, the talking animals or the "oooga booga" natives, the humor and the story work well together, as well as keep challenging and fun gameplay through 50 levels. If you are looking for a technology reveloution, look elsewhere. If you are looking to have mindless entertaining fun, this is your game. You will find yourself smiling throughout.

I got a chance to play through a demo of this game and really enjoyed it. I grew up playing the original Pitfall on the Atari 2600 and even the mediocre Sega Genesis version, but this new developer (Edge of Reality) really "gets" the game. Pitfall does not take itself too seriously, but it really is a seriously good action/platformer game. You'll have fun, and so will your kids. It's a title the whole family can sit down and play. Go ahead, take it for a swing. :-)

Works perfectly with xBox.... Great for the youngsters but for the older fan you may want to go with the Uncharted series.
