Features

  • Features -
  • High-Octane Speed - Nail'd aims to be the fastest off-road racer of them all - each track is engineered to keep you on the edge of your seat with anticipation of what's behind the next hairpin bend; what's more, utilize the amazing turbo boost ability for incentives rather than points, supercharging the game's sense of lightning-fast speed
  • Extreme Terrain - Nail'd, while set in real-life locations such as Yosemite Park, is designed to reflect the over-the-top arcade nature of the game; this is a world where impossible tracks and broken and bent laws of physics reign supreme
  • Over the Top Jumps - There's nothing like flying off a cliff edge and then falling half a mile towards the ground; throw-in dodging the blades of several towering wind turbines and struggling to nail the perfect landing with your opponents trying to knock you from your ride; if big air' in other games is earth-sized, Nail'd is like a twin galaxy of stomach-in-mouth terror
  • Intense Head to Head Action - Up to 11 AI opponents will keep you on your toes; they say death comes from above and that's very often the case in Nail'd; it's not all one way though, you can knock opponents from their vehicles and for extreme punishment you can deal a crushing blow from the sky by landing on top of your opponents

3 out of 5 stars If Pure and Motorstorm had a love child.

Well i loved off road ATV games ever since the first ATV offroad came out for PS2 years ago. Ever since then a lot of companies have taken from the THQ formula to create there own, some with great success others to huge disasters. While Nail'd certainly won't win any awards for originality it sure is fun for those people who may not own a PS3, and may want a very mild taste of motorstorm. While its definitely NO Motrostorm it does have those types of qualities, the graphics, especially on the PC version look absolutely amazing. The crashes are pretty plain though along with no real psychics upon impact, just a quick NAIL'D that flashes on the screen much like Pure, and Fuel. From the Pure aspect its more like that game than any other, the environments are very well made, and the steering is spot on. Of course you have the usual mud flying up on the screen effect which has been used several times, also there is the much cliche'd boost, which reelly feels like a boost. You can do tricks but not nearly as many as some of the forementioned games. The pace is even quicker than some of the others and if you have a history of epilepsy you'd better pass on this one, no S$%T. So all in all its just another ATV game and a fun one at that, nothing really out of this world.I like the fact that it was cheap especially on PC, which is the version i have, i played a friends version on 360 and it still looks great although its 10 bucks more. So its a great game that will come and go, and definitely worth the price for a good passing time racing game. Much better than Fuel, which was horrid, and also much better than MX vs ATV Reflex which was the worst to date. So if you like face paced muddy fun give it a try, also i'm sure the price will drop in about a month or so, get yourself a used copy. There are lots of tracks, events and much fun to be had, just don't expect to be wooed, just have a a little fun. Also, The fun is the shear speed, insanely high jumps, and near misses that you have with objects (planes, hot air balloons, trains, trees etc.) to me its fun. 5 out of 5 stars Ridiculously fast ATV racing game
Nice

Let me just start by saying that I have never, ever played an ATV racing game before, so I cannot compare it to any other of these kinds of games. But as far as fun factor, this game is easily a 7-7.5 out of 10. I've seen some people say that this game isn't original, or that it copies different parts of different games and combines them into one package. Like I said I've never played those games, but this game is CRAZY! Imagine racing on an ATV, but you're going 200 miles per hour and the tracks are insane loops and jumps that no one could ever possibly survive in real life. The super fast racing actually gets my heart pumping and the hard rock soundtrack really feels like it goes with this type of game. I love the tracks that you race on, they are so insane and filled with different routes and obstacles that make for edge of your seat racing. Being able to customize your ATV with different parts that give you benefits like more acceleration or better handling is a nice extra. The only negatives I'd say about this game is that sometimes the same song seems to play over again while you are racing on a track, and the game seems a little short. Then again I might not have seen everything yet, but I'm about 1/3 through it with something like 15 hours played so far according to the on screen message that sometimes pops up about gameplay time. Other than that the AI could be a little tougher. But all in all this game is a lot of fun given the price. To wrap up I'd just like to say you don't have to like ATVs or even racing games to like this. If you like the sound of racing at Formula 1 speeds, but on an ATV through tracks with mind-boggling routes, obstacles, and jumps thrown in then do not hesitate to pick this little gem up.

This game is crazy fun!! The closest to Motor Storm were gonna get on the Xbox 360. super fast crazy jumps awesome tracks the span from deserts to jungles from artic icy to greek ruins. the single player is set up kinda cheep theres this one screen that looks like a tounament bracket. Each place has several races and when you beat them it puts a yellow dot on top of the symbol on the grid. kind cheap but the races make up for it. thats what you want this game for anyway. sometimes it's so crazy it takes a few tries to learn the race. ie. theres this one track that you literly have to go off a gump and do a hairpin turn in the air took me awile to figure that out but after i did i became an amazing part of the race. only thing i really dont like is that when you mess up a part of a race and crash it puts you further ahead in the race. so you have to go around to it again on the next lap to learn what you did wrong. main thing is just to keep an eye out for tire tracks and the arrow signs around the tracks if you follow thoes you wont have a problem.

Was hoping this game was like the ps2 game atv fury... I was disappointed to say they least. Suppose it has it positive points, just haven't seen what it is yet.

My grandson is 8 years old and loves the game. I like that it is sport and not blood and guts which he should not be playing at his age. Thank you amazon.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy this game!

Poor graphics, hard to follow the tracks. The bikes and four wheelers handle poorly and the tracks are not very well designed. Play MX VS ATV till someone releases a GOOD replacement game.

4 out of 5 stars One of the most fun racing games i have played in a while!
Brendan

First off let me just say don't buy this game for the multiplayer. No one plays online at least on the 360. And no theres not a few people online theres 0. Yes i was kind of disappointed too but i got a few of my friends to buy it and its very fun. It has its bugs but only if you crash into walls purposely. This game is straight up fun. Most of the people who don't like it are the ones hoping for another Pure but this game is completely different. It comes with 12 maps 4 that come free as a dlc. (*THE DLC IS IN THE BACK OF THE MANUAL IN THE BOX THERE SHOULD BE A CODE*)The maps are well designed and are either 1 huge map where you start at the starting line and end at the starting line. Most people tend to like this the best but the other maps are 3 lap races which i love because most of my favorite maps are from there like Railroad. But anyways it comes with a very long Tournament that is a ton of fun. The dlc also includes a new gamemode called detonator which makes you have to pull off stunts in order to keep the bomb on the back of your quad from exploding and passing it to the next racer. Along with the gamemode the dlc includes a tournament with it. You can also create some of your on races when not playing tournament in a quick match style. If your hoping for there being tons of tricks your wrong. This game is based souly on getting turbos. This can be gained by a smooth landing, boosting for x amount of time, flying through hoops of fire, ext. Speaking of smooth landing its kind of hard when your going in these huge vertical slopes. Physics in this game will have you flying through the air on your quad or bike. There is also a no collision option and turbo madness option.+Great maps+Great customization+Long tournament+Comes with a free dlc+Just all out fun-A few minor glitchs here and there-The multiplayer is completely dead(4.5/5) I give this game a 4.5 out of 5 because this game will keep you entertained for a while it is a ton of fun and i recommend it to any racer/ quad/ dirt bike racing fans out there Read more ›
