This dongle did make my Rock Band 2 guitar usable for Rock Band 2, again! It seems to be a dongle for the Rock Band 1 guitar. However, as I migrated up to Rock Band 3, this dongle does not allow my Rock Band 2 guitar to be used with Rock Band 3. UGH!

This did not work at all. The light on dongle just continues to blink and doesn't succesfully communicate with the guitar. Basically, I wasted money on this.
