Only downside so far is the lack of instructions or at least a link to them. I did find a perfect video on YouTube which was a step by step. It also came with the Torx and Phillips screwdrivers needed. All in all it took about 15 minutes to swap out the parts.Now that it's together, my son is playing with it and zero issues. He's excited to have a "new" controller. Would buy the shell from HDE again.

I got this gift for a friend as a Secret Santa and it was worth it. It's worth the price and is a great set, it's also really nice that you can pick your own color of controller shell. I defiantly would recommend this to someone. The seller was good, I have no complaints, it came shortly after I ordered so the short wait was good.

Great shell for the price

i was looking for a blue shell for my 360 controller. This one was very easy to install. I actually was able to make 2 custom controllers with this 1 kit.I now have a blue controller with black trim pieces and a black controller with blue trim pieces.The only reason why i didnt give it 5 stars was because I had to mod the 3 center buttons; the holes were a hair too small but luckily I had the right tool to make them bigger.

For the most part it was easy to setup the downfall is you will lose signal connection to your Xbox. I ended up having to move the Xbox to a higher shelf so I could have good line of sight. Microsoft does tell you on there site any metal face plate will cause signal loss. So it just depends on if you really want the looks over the functionality. Me personally I am fine with it the controller I had before was pink.

I ordered it to come in 1-2 days it took & day or two extra but it was fine, I was satisfied with the product & how great it was.

its really cool all parts are included and look nice it all goes together really easy, the only thing is to make sure everything is good before you screw it back together because the sync but may get stuck. Also it comes with two screw drivers that really came in handy and new screws to put the controller back together.

While it arrived with no instructions, there are youtube videos available that provide all the required tricks to get the job done. I did have to leave the original controller piece in the front for the wireless connection though as the gold piece would not allow a good connection.
