3 out of 5 stars For a couple of dollars, it's probably worth it
Derrick M. Taylor

General thought:This product doesn't work very well. I've been using official battery packs, as well as brand and off-brand rechargeable batteries.Official battery packs last literally 4-6 times longer. But cost might make these worth a consider.Details:I bought 4 of these to use as a replacement for my official battery packs which lasted me 6 years before finally needing to be replaced.. Hopefully these will last me until the Xbox One comes out. But given their performance, I'm highly skeptical. All 4 battery packs seem to perform the same.As others have mentioned, there is no way to tell if it's charged or not. And I have concerns that the charging system doesn't stop applying a charge once it's full which means if it's left on a charger it will likely day. I cannot prove this, but this is the typical scenario that plays out with a "dumb" charging system. The battery cannot charge on a quick-charge station. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of less is because of the price. Even though these battery packs only last 25% as long as official battery packs, they're also 20% of the cost. So from a cost perspective, it makes sense. Just keep in mind that every charge applied to the battery decreases it's life. And when you're charging the batteries literally 4-6x as often, the life is going to be 4-6x shorter. If my official ones lasted 6 years, I expect these to last no more than 1..Recommendation:If you are dead set on having a battery pack to avoid dealing with rechargeable AA's, this pack will hopefully work well enough to hold out until the Xbox One. My recommendation if you're looking to save money is to go with a decent rechargeable AA set.Read more ›

I bought two of these battery kits months ago, and they are still functioning fine with no noticeable charge loss. Long charge time though, I leave them on overnight. They have no full charge indicator.

4 out of 5 stars Great for the price so far
Robert Garner

I have had these packs a day and i like them. They are lightweight and i have literally hundreds of usb ports so the chargers are convenient for me. The charge will last as long as a standard pack with regular use (i mean full-empty charge). This thing charges pretty quickly as well. I have purchased 5 in the last week to replace old MS broken rechargeable packs, all but one came (don't ask me why, not sure).

4 out of 5 stars Works great as far as i can tell
Big P

This thing came fast. Got it one day after they said it would be here. Put it into my control and it already had power on it. Plugged it up green light came on and as far as i can tell it was charging. It didnt show the progressing charge like the regular xbox charge and play kit does, but thats because it isnt actually plugged into the controller charging. It even charges without the xbox turned on which is great. Overall i do recommend this product to whoever doesn't want to pay full price or a microsoft charger.

5 out of 5 stars decent
Adrian Moreno

holds a decent charge and is a good replacement if you are looking for something to get you a couple of hours

This charger works EXACTLY like my original galaxy s4 2 amp charger. I would highly recommend this if you want a wall charger with 2 USB ports. Very satisfied with my purchase

4 out of 5 stars Excellent
Alexis Ayala

Latest a while day of video gaming til battery runs out. I think it's pretty good. Also charges fast when not in use.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy!
Ero Sennin47

Save your money up and buy the original battery pack from the Microsoft store. The battery doesn't last long and the charger messed up the first week.

Amazon Customer

I recently ordered two covers, one red and black, the other white and gray. After I opened the packaging I found that all I was sent was the red and black cover and it was obviously not brand new as it was covered in dirt.

5 out of 5 stars Great for 10-yr-old!
Curly Willow

My 10 y/o son LOVES this game! I am usually pretty careful about how much and which video games I let him play (this is the only "T" rated game he has, and he only has 1 E-10 game, everything else he has is "E" rated). The action/violence level is relatively tame -- all cartoon characters battling eachother, no blood, no visible injuries, the character who loses the battle kind of flies out of the scene. The battling itself isn't very graphic, with highly fictionalized "weapons." That said, my son and his friends love the game, lots of interesting "level-ups" and plot twists, plus fun characters you'll recognize from elsewhere.

5 out of 5 stars Everything about this game screams "Epic Nintendo Game"
Peter Marreck

I wasn't much of a console gamer for a long time after the N64, but one game that stood out on it was Super Smash Bros. Fast forward to 2008 and I broke down and got a Wii for the party-gaming potential. I have not been disappointed. Yesterday, this game arrived.Oh boy. This is a heck of a lot of fun. The number of things to do is incredible. You can even practice your character's moves against your choice of inert or active opponents. Nintendo seems to have intended this game to be epic as they not only include an in-game retrospective of the entire line of Nintendo gaming products going back all the way to the NES, they include time-limited trial versions of the classic games.Wifi works wonderfully. Online matches are frantic and fun.One odd thing is that the wireless pointer feature of your wii controller is completely inert once you load the game. This is one area where they shouldn't have stuck to their roots- it feels silly to move a token with the analog joystick when I could theoretically just point at the character I want to use. But you get used to it.If you have a kid, he will spend months getting all the unlocks (there are lots). If you have a kid inside you, you will rediscover some console joy.The maps are pretty amusing/crazy. They touch on many themes/ideas from previous Nintendo works. Put it this way: There is a Pictochat map. The terrain is drawn as you play... Many maps have destructible terrain or areas you cannot jump up through, which adds a strategic element. The characters are varied and seem very well-balanced against each other. (Aside: I love how the announcer says "KING DEDEDE" so seriously.)If you are completely new to the game, you still have a pretty good shot at winning by button-mashing, which I consider a good feature. If you have mastered the combos and moves however, you still have the advantage.I haven't played the adventure mode much but it is also fun.You pretty much have to buy this game if you own a Wii. This is as much a Wii-defining game as Super Mario Galaxy or Wii Sports is. Read more ›

5 out of 5 stars Mega-Title lives up the the Mega-Hype
Kevin J. Loria

Even though I was Nintendo label die-hard and fan of their coin-op franchise from the beginning, Super Smash Bros or brawl titles in general haven't interested me too much.So the most anticipated title of 2008 wasn't guaranteed to strike my electric fancy. But, when you add WI-FI play for free online brawling and custom controls in order to configure anything from the Wii controllers to the old school (4 variations on play) you've got me curious. Add to that the longest list of cross-title cross-era characters ever produced (Thirtysomethings: remember "Battle of the Network Stars" ). Characters from `87s' Kid Icarus (Pit) and Metal Gear's Snake, Pikachu and various Pokemon. Loads of Mario characters including the man himself: Diddy and Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong dating from Mario's 1981 coin-op premiere of the title of the same name), Wario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and more. Other melee cameos include the Ice Climbers, Metroids' Zero Suit Samus, Kirby, King Dedede and his Meta Knight, Sonic, LINK & Zelda (from '86 and on), Star Fox, Lucas & friends from Mother 3... and lots of other unlockables. Some noteable, but Non-playable, assist trophies include Devil from Devil World, Star Fox's Andross, Mr. Resetti from Animal Crossing, Little Mac from Tyson's Punch-Out and even Excitebike ('85) is on the scene. What is particularly cool about these appearances is the consistency of style for each character regardless of genre or era of the characters. Nintendo has outdone itself on graphics on this one, even when they are "dumbing" down the graphics for cross-game effect. The sound effects are true to this as well, with as many retro SFXs as cool new ones.Options for play include Solo vs. PC, Multiplayer play vs. 3 friends or on-line options. Other options include the Classic game (you beat `em you advance) or a storyplay campaign which is surprisingly worthwhile. The variety of Brawl locations and is amazingly broad as are the detailing of each location gimmicks. From Yoshi's Island to a stadium to the exterior of a StarFox ship sailing the stratosphere, this alone will extend the life of BRAWL's replay longevity. Characters move satisfyingly fluid, and their variety per character is exciting. The Mini-games are fun and nice samplings of other titles, both new and old. If fact, many of these made me ready to seek out some games I hadn't looked at before. If anything BRAWL is a great sampler title.Super Smash Bros. Brawl is going to be top of the "4 player fighting" genre for some time to come, I think. Well worth the release push-back. Read more ›

5 out of 5 stars Smashing Good Time
Michael Kerner

During the past year, Nintendo really showed what it takes with the success of the Wii. Dominant games like The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the definitive Super Mario Galaxy, really proved the Wii with its ultimate gameplay. But, that success has also been as a dominant question with Super Smash Brothers Brawl. While its prequel, Smash Brothers Melee was the biggest-selling title from Nintendo's last home console, the Gamecube, many still had wondered if Nintendo was going to be able to top that outrageous game of madness and excitement. Well, Nintendo has done it, and taken the brawl to a whole new level of fierceness. Its time to brawl!!Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Nintendo Wii, is one of the most anticipated games to be released this year, and it absolutely dominates the competition. The gameplay is very addictive as you play with all your favorite classics characters like Mario, the adorable Yoshi, Link, the fierce Bowser and many others. There are also a lot of new characters here to unlock too like Sonic The Hedgehog, Wario, King Dedede from Kirby's Dream Land, Diddy Kong and Olimar from the overlooked Pikmin series. There are also secondary characters which have been added as well, that come and assist you to the depth of the gameplay like the Nintendogs, which block the screen so you can't see where your opponents are during the game, and Andross from the Star Fox series. The graphics look great, and appeal to each and every level you can challenge on from the abstractism of Warioware, to the madness of racing along the Mario Raceway from Mario Kart. Each level is packed with excitement for gamers of all ages. The control is also new to some gamers, and traditional for veterans too, as you can manuver your favorite characters 4 different ways: the Wii Remote alone, the Wii and Nunchuck controller, the Wii's classic controller and even the Nintendo Gamecube controller. The Wii controller and nunchuck take awhile to get used to, but the classic and Gamecube controllers work very well, making it simple and addictive gameplay. On top of that, you also can now challenge against others not just in the living room, but you can now also play against other Brawlers online through Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection, which makes the gameplay even more addictive for anyone who wants to brawl farther than they've ever done before. All in all, Super Smash Brothers Brawl is a must buy for anyone who owns the Nintendo Wii. It is just great from start to finish and brings in every depth of excitment and gameplay for a super smash for anyone who has the need to smash the competition. It is definitely a great game all around and a great addition to your Wii video game library.Graphics: A-Sound: A-Control: A for Gamecube and Classic Controller; B for Wii Remote & NunchuckFun & Enjoyment: B+ for solo gamers; A for multiplayer actionOverall: A- Read more ›

4 out of 5 stars Great game. Worth the money and multiple playthroughs.
milp

Great game style. I like the kinds of games that tastefully mix weapons and "supernatural" powers. So the game play is on par with Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Singularity. The GOTY version is worth the extra money, too. The DLC content is the equivalent of another game and it's very good. The powers in the game are interesting and you can exploit combinations to make for more interesting game play. Stopping time, teleporting behind someone, and killing them never got old! However, the power consumption was very expensive and I felt like this actually deincentivized their use. I know that the game makers probably wanted some means of bottlenecking power use so that the game wasn't too easy, but I felt like I did a lot of waiting in the game to let my mana recharge. I hope that, if they franchise this game, they make power use much less costly in the future. The story is interesting but not the most mind-blowing or intricate one date. It's no Mass Effect 2 or Bioshock. Take the game for what it is. It's a Victorian-era sneak-and-kill game with steam punk and supernatural elements thrown in. That it makes it pretty exciting. The game and the DLC are also definitely worth multiple playthroughs.

5 out of 5 stars The Stealth Game That Defined a Generation
Horowitz

Dishonored was hands down my favorite game of 2012, so it was a no-brainer to purchase the Game of the Year Edition with all of the downloadable add-ons that were released individually on Xbox Live. I originally posted a review for Dishonored last year but I felt the need to give a review on this release since there aren't many up on Amazon. Needless to say, if you're a Dishonored fan already or interested in this game for the first time, this is the version you want. For people who still own Dishonored, this version isn't compatible with your old save, however that's par for the course for Game of the Year Editions. As for the game itself, this is the same game many people have come to know and love, but now it's just more of it. The stealth gameplay is still best in class, offering old school Thief style gameplay with tremendous art direction from the art director of Half-Life 2's City 17. Both stealth and combat feel fluid, allowing you to play without feeling like the controls are fighting against you, which is important in a game that relies so heavily on the controls during tense stealth segments. This game is totally doable and enjoyable as a stealth and action game, so I'd honestly recommend playing through at least twice.Since I hinted at the art direction earlier, this game is simply stunning to look at. Not only is it beautiful, it's also very atmospheric. While it has an atmosphere all its own, I haven't been this immersed in a game world since Bioshock's Rapture, Half-Life 2's City 17, and the most recent, Bioshock Infinite's Columbia. It's not only a beautifully constructed game environment, but one that immerses you in it and makes you want to stay in it for as long as possible. As for the add ons, they come on a separate disc, so no lousy download codes here. Kudos to developers/publishers that do this! The best reason to get this version of the game is for the add-on content, but you'll want it the most for The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches, which are the two premiere pieces of content for the game. Both are story-driven and give you more of what any Dishonored fan wants out of Dishonored. The other content is what it is, but the two I just mentioned are the showstoppers.I bought this again simply because I like to own all of the content on discs, because I never know what'll happen with digital content years down the road. This game is so good that it deserves to be on disc for preservation. Read more ›

5 out of 5 stars Fun Game!
LT

I bought this game not knowing much about it and I am glad I did! This is a game worth the money and its not too expensive while giving a hefty amount of gameplay. I recommend buying this product.

5 out of 5 stars Creative, challenging and fun!
Remy LeBeau

I've played Dishonored when it first came out and then I've waited until this edition would come out to play again.I've played two add-ons so far and they are really good. Not as long as the main story but still a well told story.Think you can beat any shooting game going Rambo mode? Try doing this in Dishonored! As your enemies see you, they may trigger an alarm and then it will rain enemies from everywhere.PROs:- more than one way/path to accomplish one mission- difficult mode can make the game really challenging- playing the "same" story from two different perspectives is really fun- AI does a pretty good job making most enemies smartCONs:- graphics are not the very best you will find in other games- add-ons could have more new powers/items/weapons

5 out of 5 stars Best of the Year
Mentat

I mainly play shooters; so bought Dishonored based on Amazon reviews. Was surprised to find out it was the best game I've played in the last couple years. Dishonored is on the par with the original Bioshock and Death Space. I've played it first as a shooter and latter in stealth mode. Finishing whole game or DLCs not being discovered and without kills is very challenging. The story is solid, action rewarding, and the whole game's decor is like a museum painting. The GOTY edition includes 3 additional DLC missions. First DLC is "Dunwall City Trial" with ten achievements bringing 806 Gamers Points (GPs). The other two are played as Daud, the assassin that kills the empress in the original game. Those are "The Knife of Dunwall" which brings in 10 achievements worth 543 GP and "The Brigmore Witches" worth another 10 with 670 points. If you like shooters, give Dishonored a chance, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Worth the Money
jake

The main game in Dishonored is fun by itself, but if you include the DLC and the poster, you have the perfect Dunwall experience. Corvo is the perfect type of protagonist for this type of game, as he has no dialogue aside from the written patches during choice making sequences or entering the shop. Daud has the perfect blend of assassin mixed with redemption-seeking cult leader. In the main game if you read every note you pick up, you learn the politics, economics, and the general society of Dunwall. The audiographs give you such a realistic interpretation of the events that transpired inside whatever room you're in at the time. The powers can be lackluster at times, especially the Bend Time whenever you need to really get somewhere and that's the only option you can think of. The power only lasts at most around 15 seconds, maybe even less. As a challenge mechanic it's wonderful, but for practicality, it could use some work. The combat mechanics are superb with the proper upgrades and reaction times. The sword fighting could be improved for a little more realism as could the actual fighting mechanics of the AI, but kudos to Arkane Studios for giving it their best bet.All in all, the game is excellent for those who like stealth/RPG-lite games. Steampunk people will love it. The lore is very diverse and offers many paths to learning about the world. I highly recommend buying this game.

1 out of 5 stars Five Fun Stars, but needs a bit of refinement for 200+ price tag (EDIT JULY 2013, IT BROKE & NO RESPONSE FROM MC 4 MY 2yr WARNTY
KBizz

EDIT: JULY 30, 2013. THE UNIT BROKE, MAD CATZ DID NOT MAKE GOOD ON WARRANTY, DID NOT EVEN RESPOND TO MY EMAIL! BUYER BEWARE. ITS OVER FOR ME AND MADCATZ PRODUCTS.NOVEMBER 5, 2011.So I got the unit from the madcatz website for 220 because if you order directly from there they have an internet coupon code that gives you 10 percent off, which is awesome because you can have it shipped 2day xpress with the extra cash you save if you want to. Anyways, i am a 33 yr old gamer, and have always stayed away from the madcatz brand since the days during the n64. I bought alot of junk controls from them that forever made me stick with the oem brand of whatever system i owned since then. Needless to say I was extremely skeptical, but I knew I would just return it if I didnt like it so I said what the hell. Well, I think the wheel is worth what you pay for it, and im glad madcatz has finally made a quality product other than their competition fight sticks. It has alot of weight to it, almost all steel, has a nice feel with rubber grips and 270 degrees of rotaion. the included lap supports are very sturdy if you must play this way, and the secure clamp is also very ergonomically designed to secure the unit onto a desk which is probably the optimal way to set it up. The force feedback is extremely present and does a very good job of giving you a virtual sense of where your cars tires lie on the road. The noise the wheel makes is minimal however sometimes slightly noticeable. The pedal set does not feel as well crafted as the wheel, but you will not slip on the rubber grips and they are spaced very well. They provide good resistance although not as authentic as a real auto, but are very easy to get used to and learning the different vehicles in the game really lets you see just how functional they really are. The triptronic shifter really feels authentic and you can even feel the vibrations around the area where the shifter lies when you shift gears. Without a pedal set, the feel would just not be as immersive, and since they are included it just was the more affordable option. Ive been waiting for the black friday deal for 28 bucks on the forza 4 game but meanwhile i cannot put the demo of forza 4 down. It feels fantastic with the wheel and if youve ever played an arcade game that had a racing wheel attached to it like sega's old daytona usa, well, this feels better than that technology. It says on the box that it "works great with forza 4" and they are not understating that one bit. I cannot compare to a fanatec but I had to pass on that because the cheapest compatible set that is in stock available to ship is 300 plus tax n shipping and does not include a shifter or pedals. Im not saying that it's not better, the fanatec looks dope as hell, but for the price this madcatz is doing the trick.EDIT:DEC 6th 2011Black frizzle came and went and i got mii hands on Forza 4 $(27) n I also picked up Midnight Club LA Complete Edition. ($15) My opinion about the wheel hasn't changed one bit. In fact I cannot put either of these games down, especially Forza 4. Every car just changes so dynamically as you feel the simulated power of torque going to the wheels as you downshift and take a corner or even the slight grooves in the pavement that can pull you to either side of the road. It feels pretty phenomenal, for me that is. This is the first time I ever considered purchasing a wheel and thanks to Turn 10 studios for making a game that simulates car driving at a level I have never witnessed or experienced. There may be better simulation racing games for other platforms, i dont know, but for the 360 using the madcatz force feedback wheel along with forza 4 is sure to bring you hours upon hours of enjoyment. (p.s.) midnight club la rocks just as hard but it's definitely an arcade racer. It supports force feedback on this wheel and although it's not utilized as accurately as forza 4, I would still give the force feedback and vibration support a 4.5 out of 5 on this game. Another game I tried out was Baja: Edge of Control which is also compatible with force feedback and vibration. You can feel the both functions in the game but it's not as present as in either forza 4 or midnight club. This game was meant to be played with a wheel and after having played this game with a controller for the past couple of years, i can honestly say i dont know what i was thinking. Anyway, i guess you can tell my enthusiasm. However, for 250 shipped and at my doorstep within 3 days from madcatz gameshark website, you cannot go wrong with this wheel. *You also get a full 2year warranty*Edit:Jan 6th 2012This wheel is still going strong! Ive had it for about 2 months and Forza 4 is still taking up all of my gaming time. Ive received games like Saints Row 3, Skyrim, Metal Gear Solid HD, n' Darks Souls over the holiday period but have not even ripped open the plastic to try them out (sorry Skyrim!) It's just that the total feeling of Forza 4 is truly outstanding with all the control that you get while playing with the wheel. One thing that has improved is the wheels overall flexibility. When I first began using the wheel it had some quirky stiff points at certain positions but those seem to have now kinked themselves out through use. I play about an average of 2hours when I get a chance, and although it hasn't been daily use, its been quite frequent.I hope they make an optional set of steel pedals as it would probably enhance the game that much more. Overall still a phenomenal experience and cant wait to see what they can do with the power of the next gen systems for driving simulators. PEACE!Edit:Feb 4, 2012Almost another month has flown by and Im still pleased as punched with my racing wheel. Ive noticed a few critical negative reviews about this product and decided to lay down more information on my experience. Im still rockin' Forza Motorsport 4 every time I fire up the 360. The wheel is still sturdy, still provides great feedback from the game, and only seems to have "broken in," so to speak. I have learned the pedals "touch" and am now able to use the brake and gas more to my advantage. I recommend using some racing shoes or something with a sticky sole because the rubber padding on the pedals sticks really well to these kinds of shoes and helps with keeping you throttle and braking like a semi-pro. I have also started to use the paddle shifters more often than using the triptronic shifter and the feedback from these shifters feels closely approximated to what I feel on my real life car. Up to now, the game is still garnishing most of my 360 playtime and probably will be until the next best 360 racing game is released. Now time to go burn some mo' RSX rubberEdit:March 26, 2012Da wheel is still alive n' kickin wings! Turn 10 upped the cap on the car level from 150 to 999 on the recent update and its a good thing because I have been playing the game so much that I have usurped the 150 mark already. There is just so much content by default in this game because of the amount of cars and how different they all handle. The steering wheel wouldn't mean much if it did not interact with the game the way it does, but fortunately it has done its job and is still providing its dose of awesomeness. Everything still works just as good as the day I plugged it in.Edit:Friday April 27, 2012I have the 5.1 dolb-digi sound turned up with Aphex Twin's "Richard D. James" album for driving music and the options to focus more on engine sounds enabled. The music goes perfect with Forza and pumps u up if you are into his music or something similar. The wheel is still working awesomely and have been taking turns playing Forza 4, Baja Off Road Challenge, and Midnight club L.A. I must say that the more I play Baja with the wheel, the more I think that they should sell that game with a disclaimer that says "needs force feedback wheel to even have a chance at winning" Its really tough, but its extremely fun especially since you are constantly turning the wheel, downshifting, hitting the e-brake to take a bank, clutching and revving to get a good start, and adjusting the damper on the springs while youre flying off a jump to land perfectly. It's alot of fun. Well, prolly be my last update for a while and will definitely post if anything bad should happen to it. Later.Edit:June 28, 2012Recently started playing Dirt 3 Complete. The game works really well with the game but Forza 4 still makes best use of the wheel in terms of simulation. After playing Dirt 3 fer a few weeks, I had to switch back to finishing all of the event lists in Forza 4. The game still impresses me especially after being able to buy and drive the most expensive cars. The addition of the Porsche has been really great and prove extremely fun to drive with the wheel. I still agree with my 5 fun factor stars.Edit:September 3, 2012I am still racking up hours on Forza 4. The wheel is still providing the same experience as when I first started using it. I also started using the "manual w/clutch" option in the Forza game menus to make the driving as simulated as possible. After switching to manual with clutch I finally realized that this unit seriously needs a pedal set with a clutch. I had to map the clutch to the "A" button on the wheel and while it works well to really enhance the simulation experience, it also shows the shortcomings of this wheel's setup.I recently saw this wheel here on amazon advertised for $179.99 and if you can get it for that price then I feel it's a fair price. If you have to pay more then it might feel like one of those purchases you curse yourself for having to pay premium because there is no one else selling this product for less.I still agree with my 5 fun factor stars, and if you can find this product in the 180 dollar range you might be able to justify this buy. It's still a solid wheel, and as this year has proved, has provided me with the best racing experience and the most control in game I have ever felt or witnessed. I can only imagine what the FANATEC setup would feel like and if you have extra to spend on the equipment then I would most probably recommend going with the other brand because it has so much more options when it comes to controlling what Forza 4 lets you control in its game.Edit:November 26, 2012.One word. Forza Horizon. Okay so that's 2 but cmon man, the game deserves it. Cant believe it was $15 on black friday from the devil store himself: microsoftstore.com. The wheel plays as charming as ever although I am getting closer and closer to buying the Fanatec setup cuz its such a bute. Anyways, still gaming with da wheel alot and Horizon works beautifully with it. Just as fantastic as Forza 4! Probably gonna be my final post since its been 1yr with this awesome little wheel, but it has undergone extensive use, been used by ppl other than myself who were really rough with it, and I thankfully have not had any problems with it. My final thoughts are this; If you have the extra cash to spend please do yourself a favor and get the Fanatec. This is not a bad wheel by any means. This wheel is currently on *special* at gamestop online for $179.99 although currently not in stock. [...] At that price point I would recommend taking a shot at it. Otherwise just save up a little bit more and get yourself the Fanatec. As I reflect on the year in review I can see how it can be called a great starter wheel and a great way to greatly enhance the Forza series games or most other great racers on your xbox. Read more ›

5 out of 5 stars Finally... A Great Xbox 360 Wheel...!!!
Jack Singer

I just received the Mad Catz Wireless Forced Feedback Xbox 360 Wheel Nov 14th. I was very impressed with the heavy metal use and quality of this wheel. The Paddle Shifters, Wheel Spokes and the Stick Shifter are made with metal. All of the buttons have a nice tight fit with no wiggle. The wheel is rubber wrapped at the 3 and 9 o'clock grip positions. When driving all of the controls are well placed. It even has the bumper buttons hidden on back of the wheel infront of the paddles. The Pedals are firm and well placed. I tested it with my Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, I don't have Forza 4 yet. (The wheel was made with Forza 4 in mind.) The game is completely controlled from the wheel, no other controller needed. The driving was INCREDIBLE. The wheel didn't fight with you, but rolled with the track. If you were on a bank it let you know, The feel through my hands was nearly what I get when driving in my truck. You can feel cracks, bumps, curbs, dirt, paved, and any objects that happen to be infront of you. The wheel has been Future Proofed by including a Mini USB Port on the back. (It is under a screwed in panel) So no worries about spending $224 on a Wheel that will be out dated soon. The ability to update the firmware takes care of any new games down the road. Yes I did say $224. I got mine through the manufacturer Mad Catz with a 10% discount and no Shipping cost during a Halloween discount. Anyways, I HIGHLY Recomend this wheel for anyone who feels the need for speed, and wants some realism to boot. Well worth it. After driving a few runs, I felt as if I was just at the gym doing an hour of workout. So it is a good workout also. Hope this review could help you out on making a decission. Driving is alot better when you have feedback, and this wheel could be put up against a $600 Fanatech setup, and hold its own for alot less money.

3 out of 5 stars Decent wheel, but way overpriced
Koala1356

The Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel for XBox 360 would be a decent wheel at a lower price point. At its MRRP of $250, I feel it's overpriced by $100. At a lower price point, I might have given it 4/5 stars. For $250, I just don't see the value or quality that I expect for that sort of money. For starters, it's 95% made of plastic (and I feel that other 5% percentage is being very generous!). For this MRRP, I expected a lot more metal (ie: quality and durability) given the 'part metal construction' claim. The only visible metal is the center face plate (where the buttons are), the F1 paddles, and the cap on the shifter. To be fair, there may be more bits of metal lurking inside that I can't see; I sincerely hope there are! Even then, this 'metal' is die-cast, and I'm just not impressed. Sorry.See my theme here? This wheel is way overpriced for what you get!WHEEL: 3/5 starsAll told, the wheel does have a nice feel to its steering movement. The button placement is good so that you can reach them all with your thumbs, and the F1 paddles are within easy reach of my fingertips. The sides of the wheel have a grippier covering than the top and bottom, so you won't slip while cornering with sweaty palms in a close race. The shifter is within easy reach, and, in a nice touch, is mountable on either the left or right side of the wheel, depending on your personal preference. It is, however, just a plastic shifter within in a plastic mechanism, and a die-cast cap on the end.I tested the Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel with "Forza 4" and "Dirt 3." The wheel has good force feedback and vibration (the strength of which can be set within the individual game), as well as a good road feel. I did, however, feel some vibration within the XBOX menus (ie: while not in a game) that was noticeable enough for me to mention it here. While not in a game, this wheel should be dead 'silent.'It's nice to be wireless from your Xbox, however you're still tethered to the power brick (which is too short; you'll need a power extension cord if you intend to sit more than 4 feet away from your Xbox) and the wire coming up from the pedals. This wheel is power only; it does not have a battery mode like the cheaper wireless Mad Catz wheel.PEDALS: 2/5 starsThe pedal design is great, featuring top-hinged accelerator and brake pads like a real car (no clutch). However, the construction of the pedals leaves a lot to be desired. They are constructed of 100% plastic, and not even heavyweight plastic at that. The whole pedal assembly feels lightweight and cheap. For this MRRP, there should be some metal here. After all, these are the parts that gamers will be stomping on! I predict the pedals will be the first things to break for many. The pedal footrest folds slightly (about 90 degrees) for storage purposes, or detaches completely for mounting in a racing frame/seat.MOUNTING: 3/5 starsThe Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel features two ways to mount--desk or lap. The lap attachments actually work better than I expected, keeping the wheel more sturdy that I would have thought. Lap mount has actually become my preferred mounting way, as well as making it easy to pack up and store it when I'm done playing. The two lap mounts screw into the bottom of the wheel, and have to be removed if you intend to use the desk mount, so really, you have to pick one way or the other, or risk stripping the plastic threads. The desk mount attachment is (again) all plastic, with a plastic nut. It hooks into the bottom of the wheel's base and then clamps down on your desk/racing frame. It seems to me that it would be incredibly easy to over tighten this and strip the thread completely.SETUP: 4/5 starsThe Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel easily connected with my Xbox 360 by pressing the sync buttons on the wheel and on my Xbox. The headphone jack on the back of the wheel is for the newer Xbox headsets with in-line mute. Old style Xbox headsets with the mute switch on the plug will not work. It's nice to have a firmware upgrade option. In order to upgrade the firmware, the wheel must be connected to a PC via a USB cable (not included).CONCLUSION:Overall, the Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel is not a bad wheel for the Xbox 360, it's just way overpriced. Given the 'mostly plastic' construction and the other points I mentioned here, I feel there needs to be some serious adjustment in order for it to appeal to the average gamer. On the other hand, serious racers will be expecting a lot more from the high MRRP, and the claims of 'part metal' construction, and thus (I feel) be very disappointed with what they get.The Mad Catz Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel for XBox 360 gets 3/5 average stars from me. 2 out of 5 stars Indiscrepancies in zoom lens is reason why it works or it doesnt
genkisan

There is a definite lack of quality control on the part of Nyco which explains why some say the zoom works whilst others say its absolute rubbish.I tested this out for myself (coincidentally) and came to this realisation.I tried 1 Nyco zoom and found it great! It worked fine in 8 games I tested. Calibration and setup worked fine. The kinect unit could see me fine and could track my head, arms, hands, torso and feet just fine. I was quite impressed and couldnt understand why people would say it didnt work. Only issue I had found was that you had to slow down your gestures in XBOX dashboard as movements would be amplified. Quite straightforward to understand as it is a wide angle lens and would have the fish eye effect.I then noticed a tiny little speck behind the camera lens that was encapsulated and no way to get to it. So being picky I took it back to the store lol and got a replacement.Guess what? The brand new replacement is complete rubbish!!!!!Kinect's view (as seen in tracking screen via setup) was different from the lens before. It had a less expanded view, more dark spots and quite clearly could not track me very well. When trying to setup the unit kinect could not see the floor (a problem it does not have on its own nor with the previous zoom lens). When trying to use in dashboard it was virtually useless and quite random.Gameplay was obviously affected by lack of accuracy, kinect losing track of me and inability to interact with components properly. It was only then that I understood why people could say its rubbish and waste of money.Clearly if I had only tried the 2nd unit I would have had the same opinion or alternatively if I had only tried the first unit I would have been happy. But Having tried BOTH units I can see for myself the massive difference between the 2 and why some may hate it and think its rubbish whilst some may like it.It is because there is an obvious lack of quality control on the part of nyco and hence not all zooms are equal. You may get one that works quite well or you may get a complete dud. What Nyco should do is change the lens to proper glass optical lenses (to reduce the massive distortion and degradation caused by the cheap plastic ones) and improve its quality control measures thereby producing a product that actually works quite well and does so consistently. Ofcourse it may then want to charge slightly more(mainly because of glass optical lens) but Im sure most would be happy to pay that extra bit more for a product that actually works and works quite well.I hope this helps explain it all and I really hope nyco pays attention as in the long run it is to its benefit to actually produce a product that works well and that people would actually buy and spread the good word about.UPDATE: I went out and replaced the 2nd zoom lens with another one. ie a 3rd one.Nyko 1000% is not controlling the end quality of this product. This 3rd lens has blotches on the reflective coating on one of the lenses and has a smaller (than 1st zoom) spec behind the lens. This however did work and games were again playable and dashboard was useable. Kinect could see the floor and able to track movements etc.Exact same conditions including clothing, lighting, setup, calibration etc was used to keep the it fair and equal and thereby only 1 variable the zoom itself.Nyko needs to get its act together! 2 out of 5 stars Beware, did not work for me (edited, see below)
Krishnan

I pre-ordered and received yesterday. I anxiously tried it out, hoping to be able to stand closer to the kinect. Alas, looks like the product is fundamentally flawed. The Infrared picture is totally dark start with, and the kinect tries to increase the contrast. Was able to see me OK, but the hand tracking was EXTREMELY erratic to the point of being UNUSABLE. Painfully went through the Calibration process a few times. Sometimes, the Kinect would complain that it could not see the floor. Sometimes, it could see it OK, and calibrated fine using the card. However, when I try to play any game, just getting it started is a chore, since the hand movements are barely successfully tracked. I thought this was because the room was not too well lit (I have two lamps in front, none in the back), so I tried it again this morning. Same results. Calibrated OK, but could not even get a game going. Looks like the IR light is severely attenuated by the lens, so the kinect can only barely see me in IR. I will be trying some more tests when I get back home tonight, but so far, the verdict is that this is a total NO GO for me. If it is like this again tonight, I will be returning the unit to Amazon.UPDATE AFTER FURTHER EXPERIMENTATION:I think I figured out why the reviews are so bipolar. I have my Kinect mounted ABOVE the TV, because that is what works best in a limited space. However, the Zoom seems to work best when the sensor is BELOW the TV. I unmounted mine and placed it below, and went through the whole calibration routine again. Now, I was actually able play some GAMES! How about that. Played with Kinect Sports (Soccer, Ping Pong), Kinect Adventure (Reflex Ridge) and some Dance Central (just the basic Poker Face). It all played OK, with me standing about 3-4 feet from the sensor. HERE is an additional catch: when the sensor shows if you are in the "good" or "best" position in the game, try to stand back as far as the room allows so it thinks you are farther behind. Then, when the game starts go ahead and move up front. It seems to work best this way. Perhaps the initial distance determination is by some kind of an ultrasound range finder, and that can't be fooled by a lens, but the subsequent computations are based upon the IR field, which IS influenced by the lens. Also, the IR reflection is stronger the closer you are to the device, so it works better.Anyway, I am revising my stars to 2 because I could actually enjoy some game play with this thing. However, Nikko should have warned about the fact that this ONLY works for sensors mounted below the TV, and that too only in a limited fashion. I still have trouble getting it to recognize a hand wave even in the lower position. Takes me a while, but once it does, it seems to go better from that point. ALL REVIEWERS: Please state where your Kinect is mounted along with your review, thanks!FINAL UPDATE:I tried various games last night. Even in the lower position, hand tracking is very erratic. On some games it is totally unacceptable. For example, in Child of Eden, the hand tracking is critically important, and with this thing, you keep shooting at the wrong time, totally spoiling the fun of the game. At this point, I have given it the largest measure of the "benefit of doubt" and am giving up. I just filed for an RMA. Oh well, it was such a nice idea. I believe the only way this will work is if MS creates a supported update firmware that recomputes the geometry based on this new optics, or comes out with a version of their own (Kinect 2?). 5 out of 5 stars I'm shocked by the negative reviews
yyr

My experience was the polar opposite. Granted, I've only tried it with the Kinect Tuner and Dance Central so far, but I took the two minutes to install it and my Kinect experience immediately improved. My setup: I have a 40" Sony LCD HDTV standing perhaps 2-3 feet off the floor, atop a piece of furniture. The Kinect Sensor sits on the TV's base, so it's just under the screen. I only have about 6 feet of space between my TV and couch (with a wall directly behind the couch), with hardwood floor underneath. The room was well-lit at the time I used it.Prior to installing the Zoom, my Kinect Sensor could ALMOST get my whole body in the frame when I was standing all the way back against the couch. Now, I can stand 1-2 feet in front of the couch, and it sees my whole body, with lots of room to spare! During my time with the Tuner, it didn't see me at one point; I walked away, then came back, and all was fine from that point on. Hand tracking functioned 100%, but the positioning feels different now because you don't have to be so far away! I don't have any games that check for the floor, so I can't speak for that.I can now actually play Dance Central, so this is a 5-star item for me and worth every penny. It may be that the Zoom will or won't work for you based on your setup. I second the notion of the reviewer asking for folks to post their setups along with their reviews.

4 out of 5 stars Nyko Zoom Full Review...Hope This Helps!
Teresa

So I read some of the reviews and was a bit sketched out, but decided to pick one up anyway, just to test it out. My living room is pretty cramped, and I barely play the Kinect because I always have to move my furniture around. I punched out the holes on the protective sticker, placed it on my kinect and then put the Zoom on. Easy enough, but when I went into the Kinect Hub to calibrate it, I ran into a few problems. At first, it was not detecting me properly because it could not see the floor. I read through the troubleshooting on Nyko's site and made some adjustments with the lighting and the tilt angle in the Kinect Tuner, which helped somewhat, but then I noticed it was a bit jumpy. It looked like my legs were dancing on their own and the cursor was also a bit jumpy. I had the kinect mounted on top of my TV, and decided to put it below just to see what would happen, and sure enough, it worked a lot better. I started playing the game Joyride, and it worked fine. Went back into the Kinect Tuner before switching to Dance Central and noticed it was a bit jumpy still. Popped in Dance Central, started jerkin' to some Audio Push and it seemed to track just fine. I also tried it out on Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, and Gunstringer and had no issues. I was able to play closer and did not have to move my couch.I guess it might just be in the Kinect Hub where it's a bit weird, because during gameplay, I did not have any problems. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with it. Tis a keeper!

5 out of 5 stars Reviewer Mistaken
Lyndon P. Mccoy

The MC2 Racing Wheel by Mad Catz for the XBOX 360 does have pedals. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was playing on. But, you'll see in the picture that there are pedals. The pedals are removable, so maybe his cousin didn't have them plugged in. For the price, this wheel is the best on the market. There are better wheels out there, if you're willing to shell out the cash. But for the price, this one can't be beat. You will be pleased with this wheel. PGR3 doesn't allow much customization for the MC2 wheel, such as dead zones and sensitivity. But that's more the fault of the game and not the wheel. I'm sure future driving/racing games will allow more customization for this wheel. The problem was PGR3 came out before this wheel was on the market. However, it still works well overall. It may take a little getting used to. The quality of the unit is great. It is comfortable with no-slip soft rubber on the wheel. My previous Mad Catz wheel for my 1st gen xbox still works great after years of use. I'm sure I'll get the same life from this new version. The wheel's resistance feels natural and the vibration feedback adds to the realism in games. The pedals and shifter work well too. I've seen the wheel as cheap as $59.99 in adds. It just can't be beat.

3 out of 5 stars Clunky but Acceptable
Beanboy

I just got this wheel today from Best Buy. In fact, I had to drive an hour and 1/2 just to pick it up because we didn't have one where I live. Anyway, as everyone knows the Microsoft Wireless Wheel for the XBOX 360 is not made anymore so this is pretty much all there is for a 'reasonable' price. That being said, here are my observations. The wheel and base are quite large. I'm a small guy, 5'7 and the base rests heavily on my lap and is about 19" across. It's fairly solid and definitely not light weight. I find it bulky and uncomfortable. Not only that, but the wheel itself seems to tilt too far forward and down for my comfort but its acceptable. The Green A button and Red B buttons are on the LEFT as compared to the XBOX controller where the buttons are on the right so that took some getting use to. The foot pedals are fine but the pedals themselves are fairly hard to press down. Especially the brake pedal. I guess Madcatz was going for realism in that department. I have them on carpet so they don't slide. The pros: Works with every game I've tried, Burnout, Dirt, NFS Hot Pursuit/Shift, Grid, Forza and Test Drive Unlimited 2. However, on some games the hat switch in which you look at the car from a 360 perspective is disabled. It seems to work best with Need for Speed Shift/Hot pursuit and Grid. You have to over steer on Test Drive Unlimited but that might be fixed in the controller menu. There's also vibrational feedback which isn't too bad. Also XBOX immediately recognizes the wheel and no calibration was necessary. The Cons: Bulky and big. Not a 'nice looking' wheel. Looks kind of corny with the stickers glued on for the label and speedometer. Another HUGE con is after using the wheel for a while there was a horrible screeching sound coming from the metal shaft inside the wheel. It got so bad my cat came in to see what I was doing. I mean, it was REALLY grating like plastic on metal. I actually tried WD40 and then Vaseline. Yea, I know, but it worked. If you use headphones I guess that doesn't matter to begin with. The other cons are no forcefeedback and it's not wireless. It also doesn't work with the GTA IV series. All in all if you HAVE to have a wheel this one would do. It's DEFINATELY better than a controller or joystick. On the negative, this wheel should be priced around 45-50 dollars. For almost 100 bucks it should at least be wireless. I hope this review helps someone. :P Read more ›

3 out of 5 stars Good feeling wheel, but 4-way hub controller flaky with Forza 3
John

I use this with Forza 3, I have not yet tried it with Dirt2. I have used it for about 25 hours of play.Good :The feel of the wheel and pedals are very good. I would like a stronger spring return to center, but I'm just being picky. The wheel does not jitter in game play, and I'm very pleased with the feel of the force feedback, even though it's pretty tame. You can feel the simulated tire chatter in a corner, or the Stability/Traction systems making adjustments in hard driving, and that's really all I wanted. The feel of the accelerator is great, the brake pedal is a little sensitive, but I can live with it. The pedal board REALLY needs some grippy Velcro or Sup-R-Lock strips to grab carpet or it will slide around. An easy fix. The paddle shifters are great, I don't use the shifter stick much. The paddle shifters will not stand any major abuse, but are sensitive and smooth.Bad:The center hub of the wheel is the 4-way controller pad located for your left thumb on the normal XBox controller. Mine is extremely crappy, and often misses a press or reads a double or triple press. I may eventually have to return it for warranty, I'm still figuring the problem out - but the hub is sloppy enough it's never going to be a good 4-way button. Navigating is a major problem because of this fault.Overall:Happy with the general feel of the wheel, like the pedals, fair price. The wheel and pedals feel very solid. I'm driving far better now. That 4-way controller in the hub **stinks** though; it's light, weak, sloppy and unreliable and I'm not a bit happy about that bit.

3 out of 5 stars Wheel good, communicator connection bad
Hamp

I've had two of these wheels and both had the same problem -- the communicator connection was bad. In races on PGR3, I would get complaints about feedback and a bad connection all the time. So I stopped using the communicator when I raced, which hurt the fun of the game. The wheel itself is fine and I actually prefer it to the MS wheel, which was nearly 3 times as expensive. But the communicator problem is serious, and I've heard other owners of the Mad Catz wheel complain about the same problem. I haven't used this wheel in six months and I'm hoping Mad Catz got enough complaints that they finally did something to correct it. Too bad

5 out of 5 stars Well, thanks...

Great game. By great game, I mean that it is incredibly amusing to watch my boyfriend toss his Xbox controller across the room in fury as he loses to random user-generated teams and screams obscenities so unique that you would think he was composing his own dictionary of hatred and man-tears.

4 out of 5 stars Better than NHL 13

So far, I've played ~160 games (I had the early release) in EASHL with most being in club play, but a handful of OTP games as well. The good things I've seen so far are that hitting generally works, skating seems reasonably fluid once you have enough stats on your player, goalies aren't making saves they shouldn't and aren't letting in too many weak goals, the new EASHL seasons makes things a bit more exciting, stick lifting now seems to work well enough and not give constant penalties, and that the AI seems to be improving on the offensive side.On the other hand, it also has a few areas for improvement. AI on D during a rush is almost useless and gives up the toe drag wrist shots from the high slot as it has in the last 5 years or so. On top of that, these seem to be going in at an alarming rate for players who likely are well below having their legend card yet. Larger players seem to have a big balance boost, which makes it nearly impossible to knock down a player more than 4 inches taller than you. Poke checking seems inconsistent. Forcing passes through defenders works too often, and offense seems to be much more able to pick up loose pucks than on defense. While at first fighting seemed like an improvement over the old system, after getting into a few dozen fights the majority of online players just seem to mash the punch button and manage to win more often than not. There doesn't seem to be much of a way around this either. Using R2 to dodge and counter is somewhat difficult to do, and if they manage to connect with a hit, you might as well just let them win. At least the old system gave you a ton more control as far as dodging went.More disappointing is that face-off spamming (continuously trying to win the draw before it is dropped, making your character twitch) still works in the game despite countless complaints and EA promising to fix it. As a top 50 center right now with 60% wins, I still manage to have games against these guys where I go 30% while they are clearly exploiting the system. Its been going on for a few years now, and should have been fixed long ago. Finally a more minor issue is that low speed skating that you would do defensively to get into position and face the puck is more difficult than it should be, and results in too many cases where I'm out of position because the game decided I wanted to do a big spin rather than just turn my hips.It will be interesting to see how future tuners change this, as EA doesn't seem to have much of a rhyme or reason for many of the changes they end up making, so we could be looking at a much different reaction in 3 months or so. Easily my son's favorite Xbox game of the year. He has been playing it steadily over the past 3 months and never gets bored.

1 out of 5 stars Proof that a monopoly on something is a terrible idea

I just finished playing NHL 14 for the last time, and for that matter, the LAST EA NHL title EVER. Just because EA is the only manufacturer of an NHL game doesn't mean they can create garbage since there's no competition. This game is poorly made, more than likely by employees who know NOTHING about hockey.BACKGROUND: I've been a hockey fan all my life. My dad was a goalie, and so am I. I play 2-3 times per week. I'm a die hard Lightning fan, and have been the Army "Hero of the Game" and been in the dressing room and met the players. So yes, I know a LITTLE about hockey. This game is nothing more than a few new tricks, and new rosters, nothing else. It's glitch filled and has constant bugs.-I play the LIVE THE LIFE mode, and it SUCKS. As the leading scorer on the team, and the leading goal scorer in the league, I was sent DOWN to the minors with 4 games left in the season. Not once was my player, despite his stats, ever put on a PK/PP unit. And once in the minors, with only a few games left, my "season expectations" were based on a full season, so go figure, I never met 20+ points in 4 games. When doing a line change, my sub constantly skates back and forth in front of the bench like he can't find the gate to get off the ice. when play is finally stopped, I don't go out, apparently I missed my turn.-the fighting engine is SLOW, probably the worst they've ever done.-Commentary is TERRIBLE, in fact, I didn't play NHL 13, so it's less than amusing when the EXACT SAME PHRASES are uttered that I heard 2 years ago. And most of the time, the commentary is OFF, like saying my team is near the bottom when they're 4th in the NHL. 2K needs to make games again and give EA some motivation to do a decent product.Just because it isn't football or basketball is no excuse to give less than a f*** about the finished product.I'm also slightly amused that most of the 5 star reviews are one sentence....EA trolls much? 3 out of 5 stars Looks Nice, Plays Not so Nice
J. Wiles Parker

I haven't played an EA NHL game in close to ten years, so I decided to pick up NHL 14 when I heard about the addition of the '94 game play mode. Really, I probably should not have bought into that gimmick. Not having played in a while, I found the controls to be a little tricky to pick up. Getting used to using the triggers, bumpers, and right stick for everything was an interesting learning curve to say the least. The graphics are about the best part of the game. It looks great when you're playing and when there are highlights. The game play, once I got used to the controls, was okay. Seemed about on par with what I expect from a hockey video game. Some sports seem to lend themselves to a video game better than others and hockey just always has that 'bit of luck' feel to it.The Enforcer Engine has to be the worst introduction ever. While it may be true that some hockey fans want to see more fighting, it's a bit ridiculous that putting a big hit on an opposing player spawns a fight just about every game. There's no way to skip over them either, so that's been frustrating.I've mostly been playing the Live the Life mode which is fun at first. After a while, though, in game expectations seem more likely to happen based on luck than player skill. The game scores tend to be something ridiculous. I've had several games where the npcs are so bad that it's a lopsided 5+ to 1 or 2 by the start of the third period. The experience of playing other modes has not been overly different at times.Basically, realistic as the game looks, it's just not realistic in relation to anything else. Here's to hoping another vg maker gets in the game and starts giving EA some competition because this offering was nothing to get that excited about.
